Satu lagi handphone android terbaru dari Samsung walau masih menyandang nama yang sama dan hanya menambah embel angka '2' dibelakangnya, Samsung Galaxy Ace 2 diperkenalkan oleh Samsung selasa lalu (21 februari 2012) bersamaan dengan Samsung Galaxy Mini 2.

Mengalami beberapa peningkatan dari seri Samsung Galaxy Ace sebelumnya. Smarthphone ini diperkuat dengan spesifikasi hardware yang lebih tinggi dari pendahulunya, Galaxy Ace. Galaxy Ace 2 menggunakan prosesor dual core 800MHz, RAM 768MB, memori internal 4GB dengan slot MicroSD, dan berjalan dengan sistem operasi Android 2,3 (Gingerbread).
Ukuran layar serta resolusi Galaxy Ace 2 juga diperbesar. Bentang layar Galaxy Ace 2 menjadi 3,8 inci WVGA beresolusi 480x800 piksel. Dari sisi kamera, Galaxy Ace 2 memiliki kamera 5MP dengan LED Flash dan kamera depan VGA, sama seperti Galaxy Ace pertama.
